The Natural Malachite Crystal has been carefully cut into a thin crystal slice shape with two polished faces and rough natural crystal edges. 

This Polished Malachite Slice is of a very high grade and stuns with a glossy, reflective sheen that shines with a silky lustre. 

It is thought that Malachite was named "Mallow Green Stone" because of the similarity of the green gemstone's colours to the green leaves of the Mallow Plant.
