Seated Nayarit-Chinesco figurine

Beautiful painted figure sitting with drawn-up knees over which the arms have been folded. The arms are sculptured in a ‘ropelike’ way, a trait of the Nayarit main style. Well-known pose, perhaps having specific meaning. Belonging to Type C within the Chinesco complex.
